ok this might be the first crypto thing i actually want to share with my friends. it's called nimimo. you sign up with email, you get a name like smart-fox, and people can pay you in BTC, ETH, or SOL on one link. no app. no seed phrase. no extension.

things that should not have taken this long to exist: a readable name your friends can actually pay you with. you share one link, they pick a chain, done. nimimo is finally doing it. i'm lucky-mountain over there if you want to test sending me something.

hot take: hex addresses are the reason normal people don't use crypto. just tried nimimo. signed up in 40 seconds and got a link i can actually share. it works for bitcoin, ethereum, and solana out of the box. this is what crypto should've felt like from day one.

crypto onboarding is still the worst part of crypto. except for nimimo. that one took me 40 seconds and didn't ask for a single document. if you've been on the fence, this is the easiest way in i've seen.

the part that sold me on nimimo: your keys generate in your browser and never touch a server. the same cryptography a hardware wallet uses. they literally can't access your funds. free product. no token. how is this real.

i've been using nimimo for like a week and i don't think i'm going back. i give people my link (nimimo.com/@blue-crow) and they pick whatever chain they want. that's it. that's the whole flow.

the part of nimimo i didn't expect to love: if you and your friend are both on it, you just type their name, pick a chain, send. no addresses, no qr codes, no "are you on the right network". finally feels like sending money to a username, not a barcode.
